Video Vintage: Video Art from the Centre Pompidou 1963-1983
In 2012, I worked as a Curatorial Assistant at the ZKM Medienmuseum in Karlsruhe, Germany under lead curator Bernhard Serexhe. One of my major projects was to assist in the re-mounting of a traveling exhibition from Paris, Video Vintage: Video Art from the Centre Pompidou 1963-1983.
Working alongside curators from the Pompidou including Christine van Assche, as well as internal ZKM staff in the media archive, library, and publicity departments, I performed multiple duties including: the curation and installation of all vintage video equipment on display, including the live video feed at the exhibition entrance; editing and translating didactic wall texts and object labels; curating and installing all displays of printed materials throughout the exhibition; and clearing reproduction rights and designing the photographic wall displays.
