I’ve just started rewatching Cosmos for the first time since the ’80s, so all I can think of while reading this New York Times story about possible radio transmissions being broadcast by the remnants of the original giant stars which formed directly out of the Big Bang is Carl Sagan flying around in his dandelion seed/cathedral/ship of the imagination, intercepting these transmissions with his haptic control panel.
